Global element without a name, unused or not unique
The check bpmnlint/global, in the group Modelling rules.
Why it matters
A message, signal or error that is unnamed, never used or named twice cannot be told apart from another.
How to fix it
Name the element, use it, or delete it.
Where you see it
The editor puts a marker on the element while you draw, and the Problems tab of the sidebar lists it under Rules, with the rule name bpmnlint/global. In a terminal, penstock check --only rules reports it.
To change how strict this rule is, set global to error, warn or off in your .bpmnlintrc. See Validation.
