Guide / Every rule
Link event without a name or without its counterpart
The check bpmnlint/link-event, in the group Modelling rules.
Why it matters
A link throw event jumps to the link catch event of the same name in the same scope, so both need that name.
How to fix it
Name the link events and make each throw match one catch.
Where you see it
The editor puts a marker on the element while you draw, and the Problems tab of the sidebar lists it under Rules, with the rule name bpmnlint/link-event. In a terminal, penstock check --only rules reports it.
To change how strict this rule is, set link-event to error, warn or off in your .bpmnlintrc. See Validation.
