Gateway that joins and forks
The check bpmnlint/no-gateway-join-fork, in the group Modelling rules.
Why it matters
A gateway that joins flows and forks again in one shape is read as one of the two, and the other is missed.
How to fix it
Split it into one gateway that joins and one that forks.
Where you see it
The editor puts a marker on the element while you draw, and the Problems tab of the sidebar lists it under Rules, with the rule name bpmnlint/no-gateway-join-fork. In a terminal, penstock check --only rules reports it.
To change how strict this rule is, set no-gateway-join-fork to error, warn or off in your .bpmnlintrc. See Validation.
