Task that forks the flow without a gateway
The check bpmnlint/no-implicit-split, in the group Modelling rules.
Why it matters
Several flows out of a task start all of them at once, or none of them, depending on conditions nobody can see.
How to fix it
Add a gateway after the task and fork there.
Where you see it
The editor puts a marker on the element while you draw, and the Problems tab of the sidebar lists it under Rules, with the rule name bpmnlint/no-implicit-split. In a terminal, penstock check --only rules reports it.
To change how strict this rule is, set no-implicit-split to error, warn or off in your .bpmnlintrc. See Validation.
