beforeAll listener outside a multi-instance element
The check compat/before-all-execution-listener, in the group Engine compatibility.
Why it matters
A beforeAll execution listener runs before the instances of a multi-instance element are created, so on any other element it has nothing to run before.
How to fix it
Move the listener to a multi-instance element, or give it another event type.
Where you see it
The Problems tab lists it under Engine, the editor marks the element on the canvas, and penstock check reports it as compat/before-all-execution-listener. It checks the diagram against the engine and the version it is written for: the version in the file's modeler:executionPlatformVersion, or the newest one when the file has none. Operaton and CIB seven are checked as Camunda 7. This check is free.
To turn it off, set camunda-compat/before-all-execution-listener or compat/before-all-execution-listener to off in your .bpmnlintrc. See Validation.
