Link events that do not match
The check compat/link-event, in the group Engine compatibility.
Why it matters
A link throw event jumps to the catch event with the same name in the same scope, so a name used twice or by no catch event leads nowhere.
How to fix it
Give every link catch event a unique name and let each throw event use one of them.
Where you see it
The Problems tab lists it under Engine, the editor marks the element on the canvas, and penstock check reports it as compat/link-event. It checks the diagram against the engine and the version it is written for: the version in the file's modeler:executionPlatformVersion, or the newest one when the file has none. Operaton and CIB seven are checked as Camunda 7. This check is free.
To turn it off, set camunda-compat/link-event or compat/link-event to off in your .bpmnlintrc. See Validation.
