Guide / Every rule
Element outside the container it belongs to
The check drawing/containment, in the group Drawing.
Why it matters
An element that belongs to a pool, lane or sub-process but is drawn beyond its edge reads as belonging to something else.
How to fix it
Drag the element back inside its container, or enlarge the container.
Where you see it
The Problems tab lists it under Problems, and outlines the element on the canvas. In a terminal, penstock check --only drawing reports it as CONTAINMENT. Auto layout often fixes it for the whole diagram at once.
