Connection sidesteps for no reason
The check drawing/jog, in the group Drawing.
Why it matters
A small sidestep between two parallel runs, with nothing in the way, looks like a slip of the hand.
How to fix it
Delete the two bends of the sidestep.
Where you see it
The Problems tab lists it under Readability, and outlines the element on the canvas. In a terminal, penstock check --only drawing reports it as JOG. Auto layout often fixes it for the whole diagram at once.
