Shapes sit on top of each other

The check drawing/overlap, in the group Drawing.

Error

Why it matters

Shapes drawn over each other hide one another, and the one underneath cannot be selected.

How to fix it

Move one of the shapes, or lay the diagram out again.

Where you see it

The Problems tab lists it under Problems, and outlines the element on the canvas. In a terminal, penstock check --only drawing reports it as OVERLAP. Auto layout often fixes it for the whole diagram at once.
