Guide / Every rule
The process may never finish
The check flow/never-finishes, in the group Process flow.
Why it matters
A loop with no way out keeps its instance alive until someone cancels it.
How to fix it
Give the loop an exit: a condition that ends it, or a flow that leaves it.
Where you see it
The Problems tab lists it under How it runs and outlines the path that leads there. In a terminal, penstock check --only flow reports it as NEVER-FINISHES. This check is part of Penstock Pro, and Team in a pipeline.
