Guide / Every rule
No rule matches some input
The check table/rule-gap, in the group Decision tables.
Why it matters
An input no rule matches gives the decision no result, and the process that asked for it stops.
How to fix it
Add a rule for the input named in the finding, or a catch-all rule at the end.
Where you see it
Press Check in the DMN editor. The Problems tab of the sidebar lists it. In a terminal, penstock check reports it as RULE-GAP for every .dmn file. This check is part of Penstock Pro, and Team in a pipeline.
